Default Sammy on "Life Is A Lemon"?

I can't find anything online that will confirm it for me, which tells me it's not really him, but how the hell is this NOT Sammy's voice in the chorus of Meat Loaf's "Life Is A Lemon (And I want My Money Back)"? I'm just getting to know this album and this song is pretty bad-ass, and at first listen, I was totally reminded of when Don Henley featured Axl Rose as the backing vocalist on "I Will Not Go Quietly" from 1989's "End of the Innocence". But no, it seems to be my ears playing tricks on me. But DAMN, it sounds like Sammy!

Anyway, at the very last word, the way he vibrates the word "back" sounds so much like Sammy, I'm starting to believe it's a huge rock n' roll cover-up! CONSPIRACY, I SAY!!!

    you tell me...

Amnesty is Granted is a song writen by Sammy that was originally sang by Meat, then Sammy put that song out himself. He may have sang backing vocals on the I want my money back also, but he didn't write that song so it won't be in the credits. They are friends.

I don't hear Sammy in those chorus parts at all. If he sung backing vox on a track on BOOH2 we more than likely would have known about it by now.

There are a lot of backup singers who are never credited. As I listen to ADKOT, I am pretty sure Lukather and others were involved in background vox, like they were in other albums. can't ay for sure Sammy is on the track, but the scream sounds familiar.

Which Meatloaf album did Sammy produce in the nineties?

Don't worry, everybody! I just tweeted Sammy (@sammyhagar) and asked him if he's singing the chorus on "Life Is A Lemon". I'm sure he'll be getting back to me aaaaaaaaaaaany second now...

Definetly NOT Sam playing guitar... Backing vocals sound right IMO..

Would have liked to hear Sammy doing an upbeat version like this and see what that would have sounded like. Seems like Beef would have done better with the arrangment Sammy used..

Anyone ever hear the song wrote for Heart "Fallen From Grace"? Not a big Heart fan but the song is great. Wrote around time he was getting divorced (very productive song writing time for him)..

"Welcome to the Neighborhood" was it.

Producers: Ron Nevison, Meat Loaf, Sammy Hagar, Steven Van Zandt. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=1103841

I remember Eddie bitching about Sam working on this project.
