Ridiculous only because he didn't say the reverse. Otherwise you'd be celebrating it.

    My good sir?

Thanks for informing us on things we never knew. So, in other words, it's not what you paint, it's HOW you paint it. Wow. That's crazy. Thank you for your education ma'am.

Same here. I never grow tired of listening to that and Surfing With The Alien.

Had he said the reverse would've been just as ridiculous because he'd be searching for a new gig. That would prompt a mini celebration, yes

I wore those CDs down to a splinter in the late 80's. Had to rebuy both of them from excessive automobile listening and poor upkeep when I was younger. They were both in constant rotation for like four years straight. Time Machine also has some great studio tunes that I think were leftovers from the Blue Dream Sessions.

And you think you could do it better at almost 60 years old? These comments are freakin ridiculous. I mean they are just downright stupid.

I'd like to see liberace singing i'm the one! Cmon...people here nitpick everything. Ever hear being appreciative for what you have? For fuck sake we could be sitting here with no VH news, no VH album, no VH tour, no VH videos and interviews....we could be sitting here laughing at stupid photoshop threads instead of the glorious stuff we have now. Think about that as you freakin complain about every little thing.

It's not perfect. It will never be perfect or back to 1982. Accept the band as they are now or go to some other band forum and STFU! And I don't mean this only for you fast98dodge.

I saw them in Detroit and Dave was nonstop! He sounded great and looked like he was on cloud 9 being back were he belongs. For me, it was the best show I've seen in 28 years! If you don't like him, that's great, but to say that DLR is not rock n roll is fucking stupid.

I agree. The man is pure rock. He doesn't quite have the same stage presence he once did, but I'm not complaining.

There is nothing wrong with what Joe said. He can't come out and say "it's awesome" cause two of his friends are not in the band. However he somewhat split the middle. We all wish we could have three more albums like this. So much wasted time.

Joe is a classy guy. The only thing people can fault him for is teaching Kirk Hammett guitar. Yes that is a joke.

Joe said...I think that both Dave and Sam brought interesting things to Eddieís musicianship, as he wrote different kinds of songs with each. Dave is more vaudeville and Sammy is more rock.

Jesus! does anybody ever take the time to try to understand what Joe said before you start twisting your diapers out. It's right there in front of you, but it's easier to piss and moan because you don't understand what you've just read.

You're so dead on. I have a friend who lives and breathes music but if you just met him and talked music with him you would think he hates it. To him everything sucks. Nothing is as good as it used to be. A magazine will write an article on his favorite artist and the article sucks. I mention Van Halen he rolls his eyes. Nobody is as good as the bands that came out in the 60s in his mind. I wanna blow my head off listening to him talk.

One half of me gets pissed and the other half feels sorry for people like that. They can't enjoy the experience and at the same time can't walk away from it.

It's like the guy who says the Stones should give it up but, meanwhile, they're saying this while standing in line at a Stones concert!

No offense taken... The point is both are rock and roll... I just put it in a derogatory way...(I'm known for that...)
