    Well that sucks

I will have to dig up the picture I had taken with him when I was about 15 or so....I never realized he was only 10 or so years older than I.

Sports idols seem so much larger than life when you meet them in person. Went to plenty of Met games a kid.

    Rest in Peace
A little more volume in the headphones please.

So sad... He was a true good guy amongst those crazy 86 Mets. He truly was a hall of fame man on and off the field.

This Mets fan will always remember "The Kid" dearly.

SNY (local Mets station) is broadcasting opening day 1985 (Gary's first game as a Met) vs the Cardinals. I will watch the whole thing...And because Gooden is pitching- he was so so dominant that year

Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

Sad day in baseball today. Gary Carter was an amazing player at a sparse position and by all accounts I've heard a damn good man and human being. RIP Gary. Maybe the Expos will get some love at the Pearly Gates. I remember seeing him KILL the Braves and most other teams in my childhood. Glad he got a ring.

Just released by the baseball hall of fame...

Man, I'm so sad. It's like a big chunk of my youth was taken away.
