Default Chickenfoot at Rocklahoma in May!

I haven't seen the specific date but, they are listed on the Rocklahoma website. The festival is in Pryor Oklahoma May 25th,26th and 27th. I expect they will headline one of the last two dates.

Cool news. I guess that’s the first confirmation that they will in fact do a quick run of US dates before heading back to Europe for the summer. I have to admit that I’m feeling a bit ignored by the guys. The album has been out since September and they’ve played one show on the east coast since with nothing scheduled yet.

The first album was released in June and by that August, I had seen them twice already.

^I agree somewhat, Blind. With CF I the guys were out and about doing talk shows, performances, frequent updates in interviews and their website, etc. Everything seems to have gone quiet on the CF front now. I hope they're just planning a big blitz and North American club tour.

I feel ya on the ignored tip as well. From what I can gather Sammy seems to be the one procrastinating on touring and shit. Its a bummer since the record will have been out quite a while now by May. Hopefully they can still pull in some numbers and interest for a tour, even though they seem to be totally losing steam. I think thier lack of promotion speaks to the fact they are not too motivated by album sales. I also agree that they have done a poor job promoting new album The new website sucks ass when compared to first one. I did like and appreciate the description of songs by each member (less Chad) when first released. They screwed up by releasing (and playing live) 3 letters as second single. They lost Bigfoot momentum and Different Devil would have been much wiser, IMO. And just now putting tour togther?? We are missing something at work here.. Chad's 2011-12 plans were known 2 years ago were'nt they? Great band and new album though. Hope to see them this summer..

Honestly I would just as soon see him go out with the wabo's. The set list is WAY better.

I'm actually a bit bummed that you guys in the US are saying you feel ignored/let down with the touring this album - keep in mind that for Europe there's been next to nothing from Sam or CF for over a decade! I think the UK got one show for the last album, it's had two on this road test - but both right down the south of the country and at a bad time of year right after the holidays in the winter. If anything it really boils my p*ss when the US members get to plan multiple shows at tours year after year while we sit here with just a CD and maybe a DVD - a DVD of you guys having a blast usually at that!!

I'd agree with everything here - although I'm not sure I'd say Manchester qualifies as being "down south" - more the 'middle' of the country, I'd say! But, yeah, it was bloody freezing, you're bang on there!

    Cool!!!

If/when they do some US Dates, I wonder if they will keep the ticket prices low again.

I may make the trip to Houston to see them. I have never seen Joe live so that would be a treat... I'm also toying with the idea of seeing them in Portland because the venue there would probably sound amazing. It's where the Portland Philharmonic plays if I remember right...
