I know this is getting ahead of ourselves, as we have just had a little over a week to digest the new album. But...if this album's success and the tour's success warrants a new album, what musical direction do you think it will go? Will more old, deep cuts find their way on it in some incarnation, or do you think it will be all completely new material? Will it have the same hard edge throughout and be completely guitar based, or will Ed get back to some keyboards and throw in a ballad or two? Just curious as to all your collective speculation as to what creative outlet/inspiration Ed turns to when writing the next album, now that he has this album under his belt to prove that he's back and can still kick our ass with killer riffs and solos with an obvious nod back to the roots of the band and the years when he was out to innovate, kill and thrill us. I'm so satisfied with the new album, but I can't help, but get excited for what's to come and look forward to see Ed have a fire and charge back in his music.

    You know what

Gary was cool. I just dug up VHIII for s go and it wasn't too bad. I guess I am as euphoric as you.

    Let's just complete this tour.

I would want to hear more from Wolfie. What the other 3 are bringing is amazing.

Well they could use Babe, Don't Leave Me Alone since somehow they skipped that one this time. If they do make a new album, I think they should jam to all the old bands they like d growing up first and let new material develope from that - ZZ Top, Kinks, Stones, Zep, Sabbath, ACDC, etc. All the claassic riffs and tempos that inspired them in the past to create new classic vh style riffs. What makes VH stand out above the rest of the clone bands is the blues, classic rock, and pop influence in their music. The shreddder side of vh is not what makes them great, it's the groove, riffs, and pop sensibilities that bring a certain quality.

I know..."Baby steps", especially with the history of this band. But c'mon, doesn't that spark a little hope/imagination of where this has the potential to go? The band has a new lease on life, which in turn gives me hope that more inspired music is to come. We all got pretty jaded over the last 14 or so years, can't we speculate a little bit?

No More Waiting has an amazing riff and groove. The verses flow well but the chorus is pretty bad. If they good come up with a cool chorus that song good be fantastic.

I would love to hear "Eyes In The Night" . It's one of my favorite boots that never made it to a record.

I think it's going to come down to Eddie. If he is happy with the band, everybody is getting along and he is inspired and not taking things too seriously then I believe we will see another album in a couple years. I'm pretty sure Dave, Wolf and Alex would jump on board as long as Ed wants to.

The next album should be called "Reading Into Things" with a deluxe edition video of Dave talking about this song's lyrical tie to frustration towards vhlinkers.
