    Default Hagar Medley

Now I know the chances of this are slim to none and slim doesn't usually show up so lol, anyways instead of Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang having their individual solos, what do you think about them jamming together for 10 minutes or so on a medley of tunes from '86 - '96? Would you like to see this and if so, what songs would you like to hear them jam on?

    My list would be:
    5150
    Summer Nights
    Black & Blue
    This Dream Is Over
    Judgement Day
Don't Tell Me What Love Can Do
    Aftershock

followed by having Dave come in to end it with Finish What Ya Started, which is a song that I think Dave could do really well. Anyways I know it won't happen but it would be cool to see I think, whats your guys opinions?

Dave has problems even singing his VH songs, let alone Sammys. No way.

With that said, I always though he could do Summer Nights, make the beginning acoustic.
    Right here I say....

It would be cool to see them do it instrumentally, but I doubt it will happen. Thow Good Enough in there for good measure.

I'm not sure about doing a Van Hagar medley, but it's definitely time to end the individual solos. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the three Van Halens should do a cool 15-20 minute instrumental jam with individual solos during said jam. And perhaps a different take on the basic melody of said tune each night. Maybe even use "Pleasure Dome" as just such a foundation. Or better yet "Girl Gone Bad"or "House of Pain." And since "Eruption" is such a part of a VH show, have EVH play it at the beginning of every show as the house lights dim. Just him on the stage ripping it to shreds and then into the first tune as the curtain drops, lights explode, and the rest of the bands joins in. Awesome.....

Well there wont be a Wolf solo but tradition dictates Ed and Al solos. I would prefer more material from ADKOT or some jams.

    I'm thinking

Up for breakfast as a solo piano spot, or maybe adding Wolfie of acoustic bass and Al on Tom Toms. Showstopper.

No chance, and I don't think I'd want to hear it anyways.

It will NEVER happen. Dave cannot sing those songs and in Dave's mind, anything that VH did after he left the band doesn't exist.

The most you will get is a tease in Eddie's solo of maybe a riff or two of the Hagar era songs. He did this during the Hagar era when he used to tease us with Mean Street right n the middle of the solo.

Eh, save them for the inevitable tour with Sammy once everyone gets tired of Dave again.
