I prefer his singing here as to 07/08 and the new shows.

Here he is singing from the gut and it sounds better than the nasal head singing he's trying to do now.

Bon Jovi started to sing through his nose too.

Dave should know better after the stuff they pulled on Steve Perry with the scarfs.

Dave is 59 now, perhaps he cannot sing the way he used to. It's not a big deal to me, for the most part he sounds good. He does struggle at times but he doesn't let it get in the way of performing and I don't let it get in the way of me loving what he does. I hope I'm that energetic and capable when I'm 59.

I don't think he is singing any better here than now.....this is pro audio so it will sound better anyhow.....but I thought it odd how heavy Dave was at this time....never seen him so heavy.

He could afford a better "fitness program" in 07/08...

I've been reading everywhere that Eddie is 57 and I thought Dave and Al are 2 years older than Eddie, not that it matters much.

Dave worked hard to get his voice back in '04. I also think that was around the time he cleaned himself up. Not to slander Dave, but he was pretty far out there for awhile with the BBQ video, Doc Brown hair and very distant personality during the Sam and Dave tour. He looked coked up and acted it as well. Something changed after the Sam and Dave tour, though. He suddenly started looking like Robin Williams and his voice improved, but his energy and eccentric attitude went down a few notches. He was still Dave, but more grounded. Personally, I think he sounded pretty similar to these clips in '07-'08. But now? I guess we'll have to see if he still has it. I am a tad worried from what we've heard so far, but Dave will do his best to make sure he is stellar. I don't think he'll be quite as consistent this tour, but who knows?
