That look DLR gives Mike for missing his cue...damn.

Ironic knowing how sloppy DLR would get at some shows in the future.

    Poor Mikey!

Those party boys DID take their craft very seriously.

And that footage is fucking golden.

That is the Van Halen that will always be Van Halen in my world.

Back to this...I saw a lot of people put "Damn Good" as one of them, and believe me, that'd be 1 of my 3 too but I didn't include it because I just don't see it happening. It's a ballad and he never even did it on the Skyscraper tour.

That said, it's certainly an all-time favorite for me, and I was thinking it could be a good intro to "Ice Cream Man." Even just a partial version. I think that could also work with "Black Sand" or while I'm on the subject "Sensible Shoes" or "Lose the Dress (Keep the Shoes)" for that matter. Or even better: fuckin' "Stay Frosty!" But this time singing the words versus reciting them.

I always felt like "Damn Good," was his "Love walks in."

Well crafted tune, but kinda schmaltzy with the weepy sitar and "remember when" lyrics.

Having said that, i actually really liked "Skyscraper."

When people say Dave could never sing, they need to watch that clip. When they rip on his singing today, they need to listen to that clip. Those screams, etc probably just shredded the vocal chords.

been working on these since 2013 when scanners became somewhat affordable..
now we are about to completely obliterate those files rendering them obsolete..
with the addition of the new line of frame by frame scanners I will be able to have complete control of the Images top to bottom left to right and corner to corner and the camera which alone is a BIG Improvement
before we could only manipulate the framing, horizon & exposure..now with the ability to scan 8-16-35mm film up to 2K (720 previous) and a camera that will eliminate some of the graininess inherent with film, especially amateur formats like Single-8 the results should be Impressive even to the most critical doubters..
see you all in 5 years or so...will probably post updates here and there

To me, Skyscraper has some great songs on it; Hina, Skyscraper, Perfect Timing, 02 Fools, Damn Good, Knucklebones.
