This is inspired by a post I saw that was some of the dumbest VH related shit I've read on the internet.

I want to express my appreciation for this place. A few days ago in some closed thread a few users where going at it. Being sick of all the arguments on here lately, I said one might be better off on Facebook then here. I take it all back.

Yes, there's a wild cast of characters here, sometimes shit gets outta hand, people have a go at each other...but this is still the best place to talk VH on the net. I'm glad to have been a part of it for over 15 years.

And hopefully we have a f'kn tour this year, cause that's when this place lights up and really shines.

Within the past week or so there was a youtube video posted of a possibly restored '78 VH show. I believe it had still shots in some places where the video was damaged. I meant to watch it but never got back to it, and now I am unable to locate it. I tried searching via Google "site:" and also within vhlinks. Pretty sure it was somewhere in main- can anyone point me in the right direction? I found a '78 Fresno show on youtube but it didn't seem like the one posted here. Thanks...

Thanks much! I knew there was a unique word/spelling in the thread title, but I did not think to search for "Ya". After giving up on the search I tried to find it the hard way and ended up rehashing dozens of pages of people slagging on one another- had to stop.

While I was searching youtube I found their 1978 Tower Theater Philly show, which I had not heard before. It's audio-only, and whoever recorded it must have been in front of Ed's cabs. I was not even aware of this Tower Theater show, and I believe I only saw one show there for the Joe Perry Project around '81, if anyone remembers that period when Aerosmith took a break. The odd thing is that they list August 1978 for the date and that was VH opening for Sabbath at the Spectrum (the one I saw). Someone in the comments mentions it's the Tower Theater show, which was in March 1978. It's a great recording regardless:

I just recently noticed this... the guitar riff from the Seventh Seal was used years before on Inside! Listen from 0:20 to 0:40:
