    That's pretty good stuff.

Something cool about the idea that Vai and Sixx are friends and hang out. Never would have guessed. Vai appears to be devoid of any diva.

Very cool that you saw that tour. I was living overseas and missed it...
Sammy just mentioned it was their 2nd night in Detroit. Where did you see them?

Not to be rude, but I'm not familiar with the song Make It Last... Hagar? Montrose? Budgie? Cactus?

Van Halen reference in an unexpected place. Go to the 52:00 mark to hear how it sets up (one of them is moving to Seattle):

I would've traded Get Up for Good Enough for sure! Even though I guess Eddie wanted to show off his new toy, the Steinberger w/Trans Trem, in a couple of songs - Get Up & Summer Nights.

    Cool.
    And thanks!

The dvd bootleg last night was incredible... Lots of energy and some great jamming. Nice to hear Eddie changing up some of the solos.

I'm a regular viewer of Collider. I can assure you it's almost more unexpected when Mark doesn't reference Van Halen. He is a hardcore fan and brings them into every conversation he can, often wears VH shirts (or just as often shirts of other things done in a VH style), and a lot of his social media has 5150 somewhere in it.

This is a typical tweet from him:

Everyone check out the Van Halen love on Youtube...#Obsessed can't wait to feel your love TONIGHT!

As someone who played in concert band (and marching band), yep, I thought this was cool.
Especially, trying to pull off the solos on a trumpet!!

    Guilty.

Don't like that song anymore, but I thought it was kind of cool. That dude was into it.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
