They sounds great to me! Backing vocals are spot on too.

I'm hearing a little echo in dave's mic. I hope they keep this for the arenas. Last tour he was super dry, did not like that. Think he sounds great with some echo in his mix, like the 78-83 era.

Totally agree. I remember that at the time. Dave does great with a little echo.

Also, in all these clips, even dating back to the 07-08 tour none of them, NONE, demonstrate the power in Daves singing voice compared to when you are there in person. I was truly amazed at this in Seattle during the last tour. I had never seen them before. I thought "man, he sounds nothing like the youtube videos, he so much more powerful". I don't mean he's note for note perfect, I mean the power/strength volume of his voice comes through live.

That's his style. He needs to yell. In a good way. Live he's not good at singing softly. But in front of a loud rock band he sounds good. He might be the perfect singer for VH. And I like Sam. But there's something about Roth in this band! It works.

Are they still using backing tracks for the harmonies, like the did in 2007/08? (I can't tell, from YouTube.)

Many songs do seem to have ONLY LIVE backing vocals. But then others, like Dance The Night Away, seem to have some extra reinforcement.

    Any insight?
