Indeed. It'll be fun to compare with everyone on what song everyone likes the most off the new album.
I don't always listen to Van Halen, but when I do, I prefer David Lee Roth. 'Stay Frosty' my friends. - The Most Interesting Man In The World

I must say, these sentiments echo mine for what I have heard of these songs so far. The fact that they put so much into these songs and they came out to be heavy, melodic, fast and danger is just awesome. Talk about hitting it out of the park (as far as most fans are concerned)!!!

Thanks for the review! Sounds great.

I'm really happy to hear Ed get's a bit bluesy on "Stay Frosty." I was hoping "You and Your Blues" would give us a chiller, bluesy Eddie solo, but that's not the case from what I've read.

    M.C.,

How is the production and mix? Is it good? I mean, all of the samples almost sound like demos at times and everybody has kept telling me that it is because they are the compresses mp3's etc and that the album will have that fixed.

    Is that true?

Most pertinent question. I'm hoping an early reviewer can comment on this.

Thanks for the review. I have actually sworn off listening to anymore preview clips because I want to listen to the whole CD from start to finish. No more compressed files.

Grabbed some "scraps" tickets for Bridgestone as well. (Way in the back, but affordable.)

    Can't wait!

Ha, me too. I deleted all the clips I had except the 3 songs I bought. I've stopped listening to all of it as of last night.

Wow. I have to say that I feel that my patience is definitely being rewarded. I've known some of you since the old Slawterhouse days. I even won an autographed "Crazy From The Heat" bio back in 98. I've stood by in stubborned vigilance for almost 16 years waiting for this and it's absolutely more than I ever dreamed of. Zero filler. All Van Fucking Halen as it was meant to be.

They say that makeup sex is the best sex. This album is the band getting back together with us fans and fucking like we invented it.

Blood and Fire is my favorite as well. That song just has a great melody.
