    Default Tulsa Time, May 1!

I'll be driving over from Little Rock, looking forward to it!

Picked up the mid level VIP tickets today....coming up from Norman.

In '04 and '07 I did the VIP packages and got in early on the sale. Like minutes and scored front row in '04 and front row on the hook in the middle in '07....so I am hoping to score really well since Tulsa has the hook in the set up I saw online....
Imagine a world without Eddie Van Halen.

"From the moment David Lee Roth appeared at the top of a giant runway that snaked through the Oklahoma City Ford Center audience Tuesday night, he wore the one thing that told every Van Halen fan that everything was right with the world. It was a maniacal Cheshire cat smile announcing happiness and enthusiasm that cannot be faked. Not only was the old band back together, it was thriving."

I got section 112 for the Tulsa show. Anybody know if these are crappy seats? I got em at the last minute tonight right before the pre sale ended. Hope i didnt get screwed. I just cant tell by looking at the seating chart. Anybody ever sit in these side of the stage sections like this? For the kinda money i spent on tickets i sure hope they're good.

I actually thought about not accepting a new job offer because of this show. Seriously.

Decided to take it,(start Feb 10th)so I'm still up in the air about the show. Is three months too early to call in sick?

You did OKC in 08' right? It was one cold mutha that day. The BOK is a sweet venue. Being that it is new, we take all the good shows from the Ford Center now. I'm about 15 minutes away so I'm digging that.

Hopefully the tour works it's way back to OKC though. A lot of bands will play both venues with some time in between both shows. The RHCP being the exception. They are playing both venues with a day off in between.

Not next to it, but about a 1/2 mile away I would guess. I could see the band staying there as well.

Would be cool if they would make a stop at the Cains Ballroom. They played there in 1978 for $500.00. I could arrange for them to meet the promoter who brought them here back then. What a photo op that would be after 34 years.

Yeah, I believe the Hyatt is a bit closer. Both are within walking distance and both should have concert folk staying at them that night.
