Default Has anyone bought the recent "Street machine" remaster by rock candy?

I'm thinking of getting a copy of this, if its worth it.
It says it has a booklet included, rare photos, etc. I have the full Sammy album collection on vynil and CD. As a completist I should get it anyway, but i'm asking whoever has bought it, if the photos are indeed rare, and if the sound is much better than the original.
What is understood need not be discussed

"Dont disturb my paradise. I've asked you once. I've asked you nice" - "SERIOUS JU JU"

"I am in a blissful state. Dont bug me!!!" - Richard Dreyfuss "The Goodbye girl" 1977

I didn't realise there'd been a re-mastered version released, I've still got it (along with all the others) on vinyl too but haven't had a turntable for years, it's only £6.99 on amazon uk so I'll have to get it ordered.

Any idea what the extra tracks are?

Ahh cool, got those anyway but it'll still be interesting to hear the remastered album - it was actually £6.49 on amazon uk so I popped an order in for it. I'll let you guys know how it sounds once it arrives.

CD's turned up in the post today - typically I'm stuck at work and have a meeting outside of work this evening that might run late :-( None the less, I'll give it a play through once I get in tonite plus rip it onto my phone to listen to on the commute in the morning then update on how it sounds once I've had a couple of listens. Looking forward to it though, was always a big favourite of mine and having not had a turntable for my vinyls in so long I've missed it!

Had a brief listen through it last night and a quick flick through the booklet which is a nice little bio. Then this morning I had it on my phone with the earphones in and blasting. It's a lot sharper and clearer than I remember it being on vinyl, everything (guitars, bass, drums and of course vocals) is really well defined and you pick up on subtle things that I'm sure I hadn't noticed before.

It was great listening through it after quite a few years since I last played my vinyl copy and it's still a stunner of an album. The addition of the two tracks (Dock of the Bay and I've done everything) fill out the disk nicely and aren't out of place on it (the album as a whole).

I'm itching for the day in the office to be done so that I can put it on again on the bus ride home

Not sure if there was previously a CD version of the original recording - if so I dunno how it compares, but if you've not got it on CD then I'd definitely pick this version up and if you've never had the album at all then you're missing a hell of a record so go get it!
