Default Favorite 'fleeting' moments of music

We all have our favorite songs, but there those tiny bits of sonic genius - sometimes no more than 1-2 seconds long - sprinkled over millions of songs that we might not call our favorites but we still enjoy hearing just to catch those little bits.

    For instance:
    - The brief strike of a bongo at the end of 'Two Tickets To Paradise' that fades impossibly long for such an instrument. Perfect closer.
    - The 4-time double punch Ed gives on his guitar as the rest of the band goes silent before the chorus of Poundcake.
    - The second-long guitar twang that I suspect is George in the beginning seconds of 'Back In The USSR' as we hear the plane landing.
    - Dave's "Aw yeah" that annnounces STIL.
    - The distant howl of a wolf the precedes Deep Purple's "Hush".
    - "Gunten Glieben Glouten Globen"
    - Andy Summers' 7-note pick that inexplicably begins "Don't Stand So Close To Me".

Bonzo rapping at the beginning of The Ocean is one that comes to my mind.

We've done four already but now we're steady...

The first note played on piano by Elton John on "Bennie and the Jets". I mean how many songs are recognized by the very first note? Lol!

Nice. Possibly the single most recognizable note in rock.

Bob Seger/Night Moves: the part between "waited on the thunder" and "woke last night to the sound of thunder..." where it gets quite with light strumming of the guitar and a couple strums of the base

The Spencer Davis Group/Gimme Some Lovin: the keyboards playing the organ/synth sound at the end of each chorus

I have more like you are talking about, LLFHS, I just gotta hear them again to remember them.

Yeah.....this thread is definitely To Be Continued as we remember those little bits of music.

    Thought of another one:

The dive on guitar that Billy Gibbons does on 'Gimme All Your Lovin' right after "I got to have a shot....."

This is a killer thread. It's so true about the remembering though.

Another one for me is "LA Woman". That guitar intro that sounds like a car taking off.

This one's probably a bit generic, but the moment that acoustic lead comes in on "Band on the Run" it gives me chills every time.
