    VH DOCO..

It was said a while ago by a guy at a film company that VH were making a Doco.

Dave has mentioned about a doco..The clips talking from the Roxy, filming at Cafe Wha?

Is there a Doco coming out on the bands history, stories behind songs on ADKOT and the making of the album?

Knowing how long VH takes to release anything, they're probably just
Sittin' on the Doco (the Bay)... wastin' time.

Barack Obama did the backing vocals on ADKOT.
The title is just to let people know there's a new album, call it Mustard On Your Leg or something. Here's the new one, call it Yogurt!

    Doco-lax
We train dogs for cattle and sheep herding. They're very different. Sheep are a lot like supermodels - they bunch together, they rattle very easily. Cattle are like drunks at a hockey game - two will want to fight: "Who are you and what's with your badge?"

Two of them will be like: "Leave them alone, let's go see the game." Another one is lost: "Where'd you guys go?" The dog has to deal with all of that. You work them off a whistle. It's the original video game.

"I like to listen to my music, not look at it on a spectrum analyzer." - tcantafio

Van Halen reminded us last night of why we loved them in the first place. They helped us to get past all the bullshit around us and remind us to have a little fucking fun in the midst of it all. - Reckless Fable

Dave mentioned a Taco in the clips - not a Doco.

Oakland '81 is a pro-shot recording of CVH playing a concert in Oakland 1981. Only three songs have been released - "So this is love?", "Unchained" and "Hear about it later". Of the three, HAIL is my favorite.

Youtube 'em I would love to see this released too...

I can just see Ed showing up at Industrial Light and Magic with Wolfgang, covered in motion capture dots and reels of the Oakland show under one arm, telling George Lucas, "Okay, get my kid in front of a green screen!"

That way he can have Wolfgang do all Mike's stuff in all the shots and digitally erase Mike from those Oakland clips and we can FINALLY have them done and released professionally to the public.

Oh, wait, didn't Sammy say Chickenfoot did some recording for the first record at ILM's studios?

It's out of the question now. Lucas is in the enemy camp.

    Hit the ground running...

We came through blood and fire...

"I aim to misbehave." - Captain Malcolm Reynolds: Firefly

Proud fan of BOTH major eras of Van Halen. Yes, we do exist.

"Men never commit evil so fully and joyfuly as when they do it for religious convictions"-- Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)

The Sass Jordan version of Van Halen was the best...
