    Default MXR analog chorus

Hey just picked up the mxr chorus Ed had on his bored today for $80 at musicansfriend they have a sale for $20 off today I think the code is " twoday12 " or something like that its on the main page.
I figured some of you guys would want to know since the pedal showed up on his board the other night. Ill give a short review when it comes in............. I figured if its something good enough for Ed thats hes not making a buck on it might be worth checking out plus I needed a chorus.

I've alway gotten along really well with MXR stuff, much more so than Boss, so look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. I wonder what Eddie is using it for? Can't wait for the full album.

On the last tour I believe he switched between the MXR Stereo Chorus and an original Whammy pedal's detune setting for Pretty Woman.

The first pic of his latest board had a new Whammy on it where the Stereo Chorus was.

vhin04, I've always preferred MXR over Boss as well. MXR has really stepped up their game lately and has been putting out some really cool gear too.

I tend to use the MXR stuff mostly
changed out my original flanger for the micro recently and love the small foot print plus ive been using the carbon copy instead of my boss d3 for awhile and cant complain.

my chain- evh wha, tube screamer with burnt out mod ,carbon, flanger or phase with r78 mod into the line 6 reverb with that edge organ shimmer sound on it.
also if im not playing into the 5150's I have a crunch box in the line

Ok so for a pedal I got to say its very good, it has all the stock chorus sounds that you would expect 80's retro ,nirvana grunge under water thing ,plus the clean metallica fade to black welcome home sounds.
Ive just seem to go back to all knobs on 12 o'clock for the best setting. Im looking to use it for Maiden somewhere in time smith like solos.

from the pic on Ed's board it looks like he almost has it all set 12 just with the depth set at 3 ???
overall a good buy for the price and its tru bypass and seems to be built like all mxrs so it can take a beaten.
Im not sure if its gonna be a staple on my board but im always switching out a few pedals anyway.

2009 Vintage White Wolfgang to SKB PS-45 from SKB PS-45 to: Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner > Boss DD-7 > EVH Wah Wah > MXR/EVH Phaser > MXR/EVH Flanger > MXR Stereo Chorus > MXR Carbon Copy > MXR ME-108 > ISP Decimator to 5150 III or 6505+.
I like the MXR Stereo Chorus---it kicks ass
    ....and of course

I have the MXR Stereo Chorus , great sounding pedal! I was looking at videos of the analog Chorus on youtube last night! it sounds awesome! apperently it's suspose to be the exact same circuit in the pedal as in the black label chorus , it has the exact same control layout, just it differs in colors! ( this according to what I have been reading in reviews. how true that is... it could be a whole different story!) there is a video of black label chorus vs. the analog chorus, they sound pretty much the same on all the same setting! (except the reviewer keeps forgetting to adjust the rate control on the analog chorus to match the setting of the rate of black label chorus in a few of the demo smaples)
I'd like to hear a sample of pretty woman or some other VH tunes that are heavey on the detune effect ( i know detune and chorus are 2 very different beasts!lol) played with this pedal in use, anyone out there that has this pedal willing to give it a go!!!!
