FWIW, the official site says VIP packages available today, so I assume the site will update in about half an hour to offer packages. We'll see.

I would say don't worry. It appears Iloveallaccess has rows 1-20 already. Anything on AmericanExpress aren't incredible.

Nobody is going to pay $600 for the potential of getting 15th row. Maybe if this was California for the 1st show back or something. But they overpriced them.

This is too much for me. If it included soundcheck Id debate the VIP package. Ill take my chances elsewhere.

    Good Lord.

I think they're missing the boat on this one. 900 bucks, and you don't even get to meet the band or see a sound check?

Sorry fellas, the time for that was last tour. It worked well in 2007, sold out everywhere. But even in 2008, they weren't selling out at those prices anymore.

All comes down to what they want......do they want high ticket prices and slightly more than half-full arenas, or would they rather have packed houses and lower prices, and arrive at the same (or more) profit? Here's a hint, guys: More people there mean more people who can buy your horribly cheap-ass T-shirts, and other stuff. If you fleece people for the tickets, not only are there less butts in the seats and potential chances for sales, but the people that ARE there are less likely to spend 25 bucks for the cheapest shirt imaginable.

Mark my words: This tour will NOT sell out everywhere like in 2007 if they charge the same (or higher) prices. I saw the first two shows, in Charlotte and Greensboro. Atmosphere was electric, both places were absolutely packed, as were the following shows that year. But in 2008, I saw them in Raleigh, and that place had thousands of empty seats. About the same attendance as the 2004 tour. Not all places were like that, but many were.
They had cashed in, and it was a one-time opportunity. Well-played, but now it's time to get back to reality.
VH will not pack arenas or amphitheaters without a decently popular opening act.

I hope I am proven wrong, but I'm afraid that won't be the case.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

Toronto front row sold out already. Twelve minutes to sell $895 packages. Anyone know that passcode? I'd like to see what Pittsburgh's doing but I don't have American Express.

Read my previous post. Toronto took less than 12 minutes to sell out those packages. I can't see what the other cities are doing because I don't have American Express.

BTW: I didn't know they were doing American Express presale, since the details kept saying coming soon. This really sucks.

This sucks ass. I paid off all of my credit cards and shit when I got divorced and never want to deal with that shit again. I have a couple grand stashed so I'd be ready to get at least one VIP package early in the tour and now they'll all be sold out before I have the chance to grab one. Such bullshit.

the VIPs seats will either sell out at those prices or be flipped to ticket brokers.
