Can I vote for the "Rocket Man" commercial as the worst of the year?

    You think so?

Oh, I think it's just the worst. I never, ever thought "Burning out his fuse up there alone" was a difficult lyric to decipher, yet it makes a bunch of stupid alternatives for what people thought it meant, and I could never match what they thought it was to what it actually is. I can't listen to the song anymore without thinking of the stupid commercial.

And then when the guy sings it right, and the woman figures it out, and he says, "I told you it wasn't provolone." Oh God, it's bad

To each his own, I suppose. At first I was gonna say maybe I've seen it too much but I didn't like it the first time I saw it.

    Then you're pretty special.

I've lived my whole life never really knowing what the hell that line was. It has ALWAYS bugged the living shit out of me.

That's what I think makes that a good commercial. Somebody knew it would get people's attention because it's one of those lines in a song that most people have all said to themselves, 'what the fuck does he say there?'

I put that line right there with that fucking line from the chorus of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road that drove me nuts for years.

See I never looked at it that way. Trust me there's plenty of songs I've been listening to for years where I sit back and say, "WTF is he saying?" including the chorus of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Rocket Man was never one of those songs for me.

    Again, to each his own.

I was surprised, I actually have all of the albums on that list except for Alice Cooper's. As good as CF III is, I'm a Cars head from way back and had to go with Move Like This.
