Default Errors/Goofs you've noticed in movies

I stole this from another board, so I figured I'd add it here. Basically, you share errors/goofs/irregularities you've noticed in movies. Here are some of mine:

-In some Friday the 13th movie, someone falls from a two story window and hits the ground. You see the ground react to her impact (i.e. some kind of cushion). Same thing with the original "Fright Night" when the bat hit the wall in the final scene.

-"Heat": I've only noticed these b/c I've seen it 100 times. At the drive in scene when the guy is driving away in the dualy you notice the camera crew in his rear view mirror. When Deniro confronts Van Zant and shoots him, you see the line running up the back of his pants legs. Also, the scene w/Deniro/Theron in the hotel room he confronts her near a clothes rack and knocks the clothes hangers off. The next scene they're back and then gone again. Finally, one of the best movie scenes ever-the diner scene-Deniro starts w/his shirt unbuttoned, then buttoned. Minor things mind you-still one of my all time favorite movies.

-"The Dark Knight": I noticed these in the same area-when they were transporting Dent to jail. You see a police chopper follwing them and another black chopper above that one (it was a movie chopper filming the action). Then during the big shoot out whe the Joker uses his bazooka on the Batmobile, it flips over and loses a wheel. It then crashes through a wall and has of the wheels in tact. Again, minor things I've noticed from watching it a 1000 times.

-"Forrest Gump": I noticed this right away b/c I play/played basketball. In the gym scene when Forrest is discharged there's a 3 point line. From what I understood in the timeline this was mid 70's late 70's perhaps-well before the 3 point line came to be. Again, minor detail that didn't take away from an incredible movie.

Commando. The driver side door is all mangled but after Arnie pushes it over and drives away it's magically smooth and fixed.

Either in the Ten Commandments or Ben Hur someone is wearing a watch in one scene.

    Heres one for the nerds...

Top Gun...During the opening and closing battles with the Mig-28's (F-5's) the shots constantly switch between single seat and two seat variants (even thouh we're supposed to think theres only one bad guy out there to begin with). Also we see the F-14's fire off several Sparrow missiles but when we see them in flight they are Sidewinders. And the F-14's never use their guns...why? They're perfectly in range to use them.

"The Blues Brothers" - when they start to flee from the show, it's probably 12M, 1A or so and their drive to Chicago is no more than a couple of hours (and should be even less at the speeds they're driving!), yet it's daylight when they get there.

I'd list the amount of little continuity errors in the classic Scorsese's movies like Goodfellas, Casino, etc....but there'd be too many to list.

Doesn't make a damn bit of difference though. Scorsese's movies are so damn good, the little errors make the movie that much more enjoyable to watch over and over again.

I meant the college game. They didn't adopt it til 81? 83? Gump wasn't at the Forum when he got his discharge papers-he was at what looked like a h.s. gym. I could've swore h.s. adopted it after college-but I could be wrong. I can barely tell you what happened last week.

College was at least 87 or 88 before they adopted it, if not later. And you're right about all high schools adopting it when college did.

BUT there were some districts throughout the country that were using the 3-pt shot as far back as the mid 70's. I read it somewhere online, wish I could remember where.

Anchorman: Veronica Corningstone's name is very visibly spelled as "Cornerstone" in the newspaper headline that talks about her unveiling a child labor ring.
