    Default Two more VH albums.

Well, just got back from browsing my local record store and found 2 on vinyl. Diver Down $2.99 and Eat em and smile $3.99.
    So on vinyl I have
5150, Fair Warning, and Diver Down. I like paying less than $5 a record.

Today I also got 'Tattoo You', "Saturday Night Fever" and 'Eddie and the Cruisers".
    Bought my turntable also.
It's a fun hobby, seeing old stuff you haven't seen for years like 'Pac Man Fever', or 'Just a Swangin'.

    I miss vinyl.

Something about the tiny pops and hisses just made things seem more authentic. My dream is to get a turn table and find a copy of Miles Davis's "Kind Of Blue" and Zep's "Houses of the Holy" and just listen til I drift off to sleep some Friday or Saturday night.

Analog is the real deal. It actually makes you want to listen to more music it hits that sweet spot in the brain that digital doesn't, and digital may even irritate that part of the brain.
I have read studies and heard about experiments where people have listened to the same album on c.d. or mp3 and then the vinyl version. Vinyl usually wins.
Like transistors lost the battle of sound with tubes in guitar amps, Digital loses the battle with analog.

I went over to this guys house who has at least 3000 albums he's selling for $1 each. I bought about 30 today and found Women and Children 1st and V.H. II.
so now I have 2, WCF, FW, DD, 5150.

I also found Crazy From The Heat, Standing Hampton, VOA, and the 1st Montrose album and just about completed my Styx collection.
