Default Chickenfoot - Nov 1st @ The Warfield, San Francisco, CA

Is anyone going to this show? I just bought my GA tix on Stubhub. I'm super stoked to see one of the first shows of the tour!

I'm going to scream at Sam to STFU!

You knew Sammy Hagar when he couldn't drive 55. You watched him as the front-man for Van Halen. And, you've probably sipped on some of his Cabo-Wabo tequila.

Now, he's back with another venture and his band "Chickenfoot" has a new album out. He stopped by 7Live and talked about becaming the "red rocker," seeing a ghost in San Francisco, and donating the proceeds of Chickenfoot's first tour.

Sucks really...I have the worst timing.
I was in San Francisco, but left Saturday.

Last year I missed a date in the East coast of Canada by 2 days when I was out there...then on the way back I missed the Toronto show by 1 day.

Hope I'll catch them on the full tour next Summer!
Finally trying to pick up guitar after too many years.

Ok, just got back from the first show on the 'Foot III tour. Man, you HAVE to see this band live to really get the full experience. I haven't been to a concert that has rocked this hard in a long time. I'll have more details tomorrow, but I'm on 3 hrs sleep, so I'm gonna crash. Overall, a fantastic show!

Good to hear! No road test shows for Philly (or near), so I'll have to live vicariously through you guys that are lucky enough to go.

Roughly this. I didn't write it down, so this is from memory.

    Lighten Up
    Alright, Alright
    Big Foot
    Up Next
    Sexy Little Thing
    My Kinda Girl
    SOAR
    DTD
    Last Temptation
    Come Closer
    3 1/2 Letters
    Something Gone Wrong
    Turning Left
    Future is the Past

    Encore
    Oh Yeah
    Foxy Lady

Wish they would have replaced Oh Yeah, Foxy Lady, 3 1/2 Letters with Different Devil, Dubai Blues and Get It Up.

I have a feeling you'll probably hear them play pretty much everything from the new album as they continue on the tour.

I was there and they were great but im pissed about how loud it was.
The Warfield shouldn't have rock shows that loud.
The house music was so loud it was just crazy!!!

If i wasn't wearing earplugs and industrial earmuffs i would have left.

Hmm, Lighten Up as the opener? I dont know about that. Maybe that's because it's still pretty much the only song on the record that I havent fully warmed up to yet. But still, Up Next or Last Temptation would be fine opening tunes.

Dudes that went...does Sammy play guitar on any of the newer songs at all? Or just Future in the Past like the previous tour?

Sam only played guitar on Future in the Past.

Joe played a double neck (12 & 6 string) for Something Gone Wrong. Thought that might be a good song for Sam to play as the live version doesn't that the little riffs in the bridge that really make that song great.

    Still sounded awesome though.

It was loud, but I liked it.

Case in point, whoever produced the first single "Bigfoot" really did the song an injustice. You have NO idea how much of a ballbuster this song is live and LOUD. The song gave me chills it rocked so hard. It throws a bag a punches at you from beginning to end.
