Default Van Halens Romeo Delight As Youve Never Heard It Before!

    http://www.vhnd.com/2011/09/22/van-h...romeo-delight/

Heres an Exclusive for you a little gem we dug up from Van Halens 1981 Fair Warning tour. This is a never before heard audio recording of Van Halen playing Romeo Delight at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Not your typical live version, this is an AMAZING performance, luckily captured on tape. Without going into too much detail, well just say that youll enjoy the breakdown in the middle of the song.

The sound quality is typical of an audience recording, but probably better than most from that tour. Whats special is the performance. Tell everyone what you think of it Enjoy!

They are in top form here, at their absolute live peak, and it is incredible. Pretty good sound quality. Thanks for this...got any other gems lying around

    Absolutely incredible.

I will always argue that Van Halen was good in all forms, but this really was them in TOP form.

that is one great example of why Van Halen is superior to so many, if not all bands. they can take a great song, go somewhere completely different, then slide right back in to the original song with ease. 1980 was the World Invasion Tour i believe, 82 was Hide Your Sheep. was 81 tour called anything? guess i'll check my VH encyclopedia unless one of you has it in your head.

Anybody in their right mind could see...

Would much rather see or listen to anything new or similar like that (VH),
than see or listen to anything on/from the first 'foot CD.

...in anticipation of the new VH CD, I just gave away my copy of the first CF CD !

I'd call it the shittiest looking program tour. Seriously, the program for that tour is perhaps the graphically ugliest tour program I've ever seen.

OK, now to be REALLY serious, that tour really didn't have a name. The jerseys for that tour said "World Tour '81" and it was pretty much regarded as the "Fair Warning" tour. The most ironic thing was, this was Van Halen's first North America-only tour - they never got around to playing other countries outside the USA and Canada in '81.
