Fuck no...first one sucked all kinds of ass. I couldn't make it through to the end, just terrible, and was left with the feeling that it was a colossal waste of time, time that I will never get back. I'd watch Dumb and Dumberer again before I watched Expendables.

Chuck is an added bonus, I wonder if Van Damme will fight Jet Li or Chuck?

Uh, no dude, just a good action flick, not one of the worst movies ever put to film. Too much to ask?

I watched it as a double feature with the A-Team on a 97+ Ohio summer day on the couch with the AC set at 70. Both movies kicked ass. Men, woman and children all ate pizza and popcorn and had a blast. It's not Orson Wells.

I read somewhere that Jet Li is out of this project.

I thought it was pretty good for what it was, an action flick. Silly plot, at best, but I didn't go for the plot. Good action scenes and I thought, very good fight scenes, especially the one between Steve Austin and Sly. It was no Lawrence of Arabia but it was, as someone said a good popcorn, matinee flick. I'll throw away 8 bucks on EII.

it was a "good" movie, not great and if you don't want to see over the top violence then it's not for you. It was what it was, if you went into it thinking it would be anything else you were nuts.

Fast 5 was better IMHO.....me and my one buddy who has been pretty sick usually go see these types of movies just for shits n giggles and I thought fast 5 was really good. Expendables like I said was just "ok", I bought the dvd for some reason and it's on netflix so I can watch it whenever I want.

I think "Expendables" was the movie that I would've enjoyed more if the "action" scenes didn't make me feel like I was watching someone playing a video game instead of a movie.

This is the part drove me nuts, what's wrong with old fashion movie stunts. The CGI blood spatter was a little much, but it was still a decent summer popcorn flick. Then again I am partial to Sly and Statham.
