    Just heard.

    That's too bad.

I was not up to speed on his career but that's a shame.

    Total bummer. Great voice.

Can't say i'm shocked. I figured this would be the way that Jani's life would end - that dude was troubled. Too bad cause he wrote catchy tunes and put on a decent show when he was sober.

I agree. I saw them open for Poison in the 90's and they actually kicked Poison's ass.

Damn, i've always liked his voice. I still listen to old Warrant sometimes, especially Uncle Tom's Cabin.

I feel like a dork. I read this and that's who singer I thought died.
Haven't kept up on him. Did he hit the bottom or did he keep performing?

    EDIT:
Never mind. Just read where they found him. Sounds like a less than savory end.

RIP Jani . I liked a few Warrant songs. He seemed like a nice guy that once had the world in his pocket before the demons crept in.

Actually pretty sad really. I saw Warrant twice with Jani, once opening for Motley back in '89 and then in '03 at Rock Never Stops tour opening for Whitesnake. I then seen him on that reality show and you could tell that that guy had major issues that he had to deal with on a daily basis. Then Warrant got back together with him and he could not handle it, drinking himself to oblivion, so then they kicked him out again. RIP Jani.

Uncle Tom's Cabin kicks ass and sure as hell aint about Cherry Pie. Never really into the band but this has really kinda knocked the wind outa me, he always seemed like a nice, down to earth guy. I guess being 44 and close to his age it brings home the reality of the inevitable. Sad. RIP

True. Not a fan of the guy. But. It still sucks, you just don't expect guys that were big in the 80s to go away so soon. It's like part of our youth has been taken away from us unexpectedly. Brutal.

Underrated singer/songwriter, very sad news for a guy who struggled most of his life with addictions. He was very close with his father, hopefully he's with him now.

A friend of mine was actually a friend of Jani's for a while. He was a minor league baseball player and Jani was a big baseball fan, they met at a game and my friend was a huge Warrant fan growing up. My friend Kevin actually got to play on stage with Warrant once, if memory serves they played Rocky Mountain Way.

Kevin was always worried about Jani lately, he's going to be heartbroken today.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
