Over at the Journey website, there is a list of "Acts" either confirmed or listed as "TBD" for the benefit shows in Alanta and Dallas on Oct 20th & 21st. Guess who shows up on the list as "TBD"? Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen. Thought I'd pass it on

Sweet! Maybe it'll be like when they performed together in Farm Aid '85 ('86?). That would be kickass if they came out together showing that they are friends again.

I don't see the information you descibed over at www.journeymusic.com - I see the note about the concert, even clicked on more info, which took me to another website, but no mention of Edward Van Halen. And I can't seem to get to www.johnwaite.com, so I guess I'll have to wait 'n see!

It was in a thread in their message boards (somewhere in the general forums area) on the Journey site, and I did a cut/paste of the list above off the John Waite site. I got thru ok.

This looks like one serious classic rock show, looks like I may have to spring for the 'Feathered Hair Toupee'.

Alot of benefits those 2 days.

Oct. 20th:New York & Atlanta
Oct. 21st:Wachington D.C. & Dallas

Now maybe between those 4 major events Van Halen will finally do something.

If I can't look forward to the 19th anymore, then at least I still have that whole weekend.

I don't think that I can fit into the spandex pants anymore, but I might still have a pair of parachute pants lying around.

Atleast I still have all my hair, just shorter then it was in the 80's.

That is a dream concert for me, now if they added Led Zeppelin with Jason Bonham, holy shit.

Any word on if any of this will be televised or rebroadcasted? Hell, I'll be glad just to see Ed standing 10 feet near a guitar....it's been to long.

What are the details on this show? I've seen Kiss and Aerosmith mentioned but haven't found any other info.

What I have found out is that, as well as Aerosmith and Kiss, boy bands N-Sync & BackStreet boys are going to share the same stage for the first time. (not rivals on this day for a good cause)
Also scheduled are Ricky Martin, Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger as well as Al Green.

I just checked the dome and brad still hasn't commented on this.

I bet they do one song: Eagles Fly.

Who cares....America wants to ROCK!
Maybe Dave will join in the fun.
