Decent quality. Mild lower end distortion. This is the common source of this show. Starts off a little muddled but it gets better about 2/3 through the drum solo and stays at that better quality.

    Thanks!

Ok, at the beginning of Runnin with the Devil, what is that jam? I've never heard it before, but I haven't heard a lot of 1980 boots, so maybe they played this before, or just at this show? It sounds like the beginning of a great song.

Also, while the sound quality is a bit boomy on the bottom end, the band is absolutely ripping it here, just incredible. These guys just tore it up real bad in the early years.

    That was great - thanks.

They played so aggressively it was amazing. That is a reminder why this band is in the RR HOF.

Love Roth's quips about Long Island not turning to Disco... the audience screams when he says it.

They did that version of RWTD atleast some of the time on the Invasion tour.

We discussed it in main at one point within the last year.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

That's basically the way RWTD was originally arranged and played when they first started playing it around '76 during the club days. In mid '77, they changed up the intro to the traditional bass line which is what you hear in the studio version and the way it was always played up to the present with the exception of the 1980 tour where they played the guitar/drum arrangement the entire tour.

I remember hearing them launch into the song when I saw them in '80 and wondering wtf was this new song they're playing? Then Eddie goes into the typical riff and Roth starts singing and it's like "whoa, they really changed up that song!"
