    Default VHND update with pic.

Melodicrock gave theirs a couple days ago. Now VHND has theirs. I don't remember seeing this picture before. Yerfdog originally posted this link deep in the melodicrock update thread.

    Big Al: no change.
Dave: toned down outfit, no diamond there.

You gotta wonder, though. Al was the biggest anti-Dave guy in the VH camp, much more so than Mike... and now he's hanging out with the dude... Dave ain't buyin it, I'm sure. Look at his face!

As the cynic I can be, when it comes to this band, I have to say, that bodes well.

My advice is to go for the alien abduction story. Look bemused, dishevelled and on the verge of tears as you recount your story of intrusive and degrading medical tests.
Worked for me anyway. I still have colleagues asking me what it is like to fuck a green womanoid with seventeen breasts.

Looks like it's from the same photo shoot they used for the Tremonti update last week. DLR has the same sunnies on so I'd guess this is a few years old.

Is that a scarf with a short-sleeve shirt?

Surely, that has to be some sort of fashion faux pas.

And, is Big Al rockin' a Sonny Crockett jacket?

Maybe Dave has been to 5150 lately after all, lol. Before the 07-08 tour was it not a picture of Dave and Al together smiling their asses off?? Looks like it is just a matter of time before they say something.

I just signed on, feeling compelled after reading Sammy's book. Everything seems a bit chaotic at the moment, but that's the vibe of the band, right? I haven't finished the book, but I have been blown away by the description of Eddie's meltdown, and am surprised that there was not more media coverage of his actions at the time. He must have been well-protected. I saw a video of Dave on the tonight show doing a barn-dance version of "Jump" and felt sorry for the guy - very lame (although the pickers and the violinist were great!). This whole story attracts all of us because it is a tragedy of talent. Perhaps a freak of nature self-destructing. Hopefully, the future will be brighter for these guys. Maybe they can find some soul?

I wouldn't have felt too bad for Dave doing the Bluegrass thing. It was his idea. With Ed's meltdown, I'm actually glad it didn't go too much further than it did in the media. It could have, but It was bad enough. We got those two horrible pics from the red carpet, and video all over the net of him wasted out of his gourd on stage both on tour and that abortion at his house with the porn party.
Just glad they are going in a positive direction.

    Default Wait a minute...

How can this photo be real if the Van Halens and Dave never see each other and never work on any song writing, arranging etc?
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

I highly doubt this photo is new. If it were new, I would think they'd mention it as such.
