    Default Guitar World August Cover

    Cool cover pic
Ed apparently talks about All Day And All Of The Night. I've read an interview before where he says he wished VH had covered that Kinks song too. Wonder if this is new or the same one. I'd love to hear them play that song.

I just tripped over it at the book store earlier today. It's the same blurb about the Kinks that I think you're talking about. No other info. Cool cover though

he also loves "Shes so heavy" by The Beatles too. I'd love VH to do that on the newie!!!. One cover would'nt bother me.

Ed clearly likes his British 60s bands so if there has to be a cover on the new album, I would LOVE to hear them Van Halenize something other than The Kinks - here is my suggestion, "All or Nothing" by The Small Faces - brilliant stuff:

    I'm FEMALE...Deal with it!

"Whatever you do, wherever you go, there you are..." Edward Van Halen 1986

"You spend the first part of your life trying to make your mark, and the second part just trying to cover up your tracks"... Weesfreewheelin, 2012

"Life's too short to stuff a mushroom"... Shirley Conran, 1975

good suggestion, i can almost hear Dave singing that!...The Small Faces take me back to growing up, my Mum adores them, i kinda picked up the bug too. I can still remember her crying for about 2 days when Stevie Mariot died.

Nice cover. They know.......they know how to recognize what needs to be on the cover.

Hope it's a decent list but we all know how those lists turn out.

One song which I thought VH should have covered back in the day was Symphony for the Devil by the Rolling Stones. Eddie could have played piano and done a wicked guitar solo. Alex could have added various percussion in the background and Mike could have done the "Woo Woo's."

Couldn't have been played live but I think they could have done a cool version of it unlike Guns.

I dont know if I could see/hear VH doing SFTD.... Its an awesome song, though. GNR's version was horrendous. IMO, its just one of those songs no one should cover...
