This just came on my IPOD, I haven't listened to this song in along time. What a fantastic tune. Everything is clicking and falling right into place....it's incredible. I forgot how good this song actually is. Awesome solo. Awesome vocal harmonies, awesome lyrics.

I always loved the very, very end right when it fades out Alex starts a different drum beat and it's almost like they were gonna go into another song but it fades out...I'm always like "why didn't they leave the tape rolling" but I'm like that on alot fo the FUCK and Balance ride outs.

Couldn't agree more about this song. I liked it immediately. People around here will dismiss it because it's been so played out the past 20 years but you're right, if you listen to it like you're hearing it for the first time you can appreciate it for how well they nailed it. It's a perfect song. Even the biggest Sam haters gotta give it up to him for these lyrics. Awesome.

Would've loved the solo to be a little longer, but they definitely had single in mind on that one. Great song.

It immediately became one of my faves when I first heard it in '91. I used to play air guitar too it. LOL. Catchy as hell, great beat, tremendous lyrics, the whole thing was brilliant. spot on and effortless. This was what VH was all about and gelled perfectly.
It still today is in my top 5 all time VH songs.

    My top 5 is -

    "5150"
    "Love walks in"
    "Feelin'"
    "Summer nights"
    "Right now"

Yep, all Hagar era. thats how great those 11 years were.

I remember when the album came out, I was a little confused cause it was alot heavier than 5150 and OU812, I liked the direction they were going with stuff like dreams and Mine all Mine. It took me a couple of listens and then I really got into this album, I've loved it ever since. I used to actually skip right now cause I liked the more rockin' songs but again once I really sat down and listened to it I was hooked. It's not top 5 for me but it's up there. I just think it's an amazing song. I think it's a perfect example of everything falling into place and everyone being spot on. They play this song alot on the radio here (even today I hear it alot) and it doesn't sound worn out or overplayed. I get a big smile on my face when I hear it on the radio.

    Default Great song

Lyrics- A (one of the top 3 by Sammy)
    Bass- A
    Guitar- A
    Drums- A

I love the solo. This and the solo for "When It's Love" are two excellent examples of Eddie's more classical and diverse (non metal/tapping/agressive etc sounding) playing.

I too always loved the outro with the drums.

I also love in the live versions (every recording) how Al pounds the crap out of his drums at the end of the guitar solo. Also loved Sammy's ending when he screamed right now and dragging that out

Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

This my favorite opening to a concert I've ever seen by any band. Epic is not a big enough word!
