Eat Em "Rare Studio Sessions" demo +

A lot of you have probably already heard these, but I just stumbled on these cool raw Eat Em and Smile studio session recordings....

Embedding's disabled, so ya gotta load 'em at youtube.

    Sounds great...

    Bump n Grind

    Elephant Gun

    Big Trouble

Yankee Rose before Dave knew the words.

That guys youtube channel has some cool VH vids/songs. Maybe a member around these parts.

This track is taken from the Demography Complete Demos 1974-1984 rare Van Halen CD. One of the earliest original songs the band ever wrote! Performed live in Diamond Dave's basement way back in 1974. Dave used his cassette player to record this rare gem. Not a bad song at all with a great solo by Eddie and a bizarre ending!

Are we sure Yankee Rose isn't a soundboard of one of his live shows?

All the improvised Dave-isms while he's working out the cadence for the vocal is priceless.

It's more like the "Fix the DLR fuckups" process. I loved it... the music sounded pretty darn good!
    Just go for it!

Maybe this is how he wrote lyrics for this latest album?
