Default What rock bands have the best harmonies?

I would add to the bands already mentioned:

    Three Dog Night

"Just An Old Fashioned Love Song"

Extreme. I like how their harmonies aren't always parallel.

    Van Halen and Bon Jovi.

Then there's Journey, U2, Genesis when Gabriel was on lead and Phil Collins did the harmonies.

Hard to beat the Fab Four.

Beach Boys, Yes, Queen, all good choices.

I would toss in Pink Floyd as well.

The lack of votes for Boston is pretty crazy. C'mon guys, that band defines what this thread is about.

VH with Dave ('78-'84) - The best years....the "real" VH.
VH with Sam ('86-'96) - Incredible era....."We have renamed this town 'New Halen!'.
VH with Gary ('98) - Fucking disaster. WTF was that??
VH with Wolf/Dave ('12-'15) - Amazing comeback. Smokin' album and tours.

Yes's harmonies hit new levels of awesomeness when Trevor Rabin was in the band. As well as being a kickarse axe-man, Rabin adds excellent harmonics. Bonham even borrowed his voice for "The Disregard Of Timekeeping".

    Fab Four and the Eagles.

Fleetwood Mac for a band on the lighter side, I always thought that their three voices blended very well.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!
