I don't know how to post pics here but you can go to this Flikr set of my Fender Wolf purchased in Nov 2010. I love the guitar, plays beautifully, feels just right.

As a lefty myself, I can only say, "Congratulations!" We live in "lefty hell" when it comes to guitar options - I can only imagine the smile that you get when you look at it. I am one jealous mofo right now.

No more lefty hell. The Fender Wolf is a lot of money, probably too much, but I will be playing this guitar for the rest of my life, so the $2800 it cost me would work out to much less than a dollar a day when you look at it from that perspective With the amount of smiling I've done already I'd say it was the best money I've ever spent. Sometimes I just stare it. As a lefty if you can even pick up a used one somewhere down the road, go for it, the guitar really is amazing. I've tried every lefty guitar out there and nothing comes close.

I would love an actual EVH. I have (according to his emails) the first left handed arch top Wolfgang that Scott Fletcher made in off white with white binding. I thought that was the closest I'd ever get. I agree it's a lot of money, but you have to look at it as an investment in something you are going to have for very long time. I hope have a real one some day.

Awesome man! But as far as it being 'the closest you'll ever get', I'd be willing to bet that guitar is actually closer, so to speak, than an actual Wolfgang. I wouldn't run out and buy an EVH if you feel like you might be missing out on something with your clone.... The spec's are all dead on with the original, and no fault to EVH Corp. -- but when comparing 2 high end guitars of identical specs, the mass produced one will probably will not have the same attention to detail as the one built 'one-off', by hand. I'm sure you've got a fantastic guitar there... I remember seeing pics of it when it was new on here.

MRJ, Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the guitar Scott made for me. Quick story.
Scott sent me the guitar and started to put it together. I couldn't get the switch or the pots to fit. Up until this point Scott had only done flat tops and the routs for the arch top weren't deep enough. I could get long shaft pots, but couldn't find a long shafted switch. So I started chiseling the switch rout down and even though I thought I was being delicate, I turned the guitar over and found I cracked the finish. After some buffing first and then sanding, I found I had cracked it all the way trough the paint job. I literally almost started to cry. I talked to Scott and sent it back to his painter to be redone. Cost me some money, but well worth it. It looks fantastic. Scott's told me his main wiring guy hated long shafted pots, so he later adjusted the routs based off the problems I had. So if I don't have the first arch top, I have one of the first few.
