Default In Need Of Help, VH Boot Fanatics!

I had an idea many years ago to create an unofficial "live" album centered around Van Halen's spectacular tour in support of Balance. Back in the day, I didn't have the know-how to create such a thing without making it sound like a disjointed mess.

Six years later (yes, it's been that long) I created a Rush compilation between 1989-1992 and it sounds wonderful, after some editing and mixing. I finally have the editing/mixing thing down, and now I want to take advantage of it for my fellow Van Halen fans.

Here's the thing. All of my Balance shows are at home, and are of horrendous quality (I think they're .wma files, boy, what in the hell was I thinking...). I want to make this happen. So, I'm looking for help. I already have a general setlist idea in mind because I remember the tour very well, but I'd like to have the material for it. So, I need the following shows:

    January 31, 1995 Milan, IT
    March 11, 1995 Pensacola, FL
    June 24, 1995 London, UK
    July 15, 1995 Holdmel, NJ
July 28, 1995 Tinley Park, IL
July 29, 1995 Alpine Valley, WI
    August 18, 1995 Toronto, OT
    October 30, 1995 Osaka, JP

It's a lot to ask for, I know. But I'd appreciate any assistance anyone can provide.

And sorry voa, I've tried your site but the boots I downloaded were incredibly low, drowned out quality. No offense, I'm just looking for higher quality versions.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide. I'd owe you big time!

There are lots of videos from the Balance tour on youtube. Maybe you could use Real player or a similar program to get just the audio portion. Hope that helps...

The quality ends up processed and washed when that's done, it goes through so much compression from the DVD rip, to YouTube upload, to conversion to audio. It's a thoughtful idea, but it's not what I'm looking for. Thanks though!

I have actually gotten a few outstanding rips from youtube which only needed to have the high end bumped a bit before the songs being truly listenable...case in point, Right Now from Wembley...that version sounds like Ed is trying to knock the place to the ground!

While that may be, I'm looking for higher quality. Possibly FLAC or sourced from FLAC files. MP3 @320, too. I'm just not digging the YouTube idea. May be good casually but I'm looking to do something big with this one.

All of my rips are in mp3 at 320...in fact, I'm listening to the one I just put up in the VH on the Tube section which I burned to CD...thing rocks the house to the ground, and I'm real picky about what I'll listen to on my home stereo.

Call me picky but I'm not game for the Youtube rips.

When I started collecting boots I'd have been chastised if I even considered doing that for something like this. People rode my ass for wanting mp3 files because FLACs were so superior, and after examining it I'm inclined to agree. And I guess the audiophile in me doesn't want it through that extra stage of compression you know? It's picky, I know. The help is appreciated but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

    Hey Rob!

With college and my current internship, I've gotten a decent amount done. It's been tough to master them out and get everything together, but I'm about 3/4's of the way done and hopefully will have it completed by the middle-to-end of July
