Not a bad list.....Hard to argue #1, going undefeated and all but, one could quibble, so I will.

They got the wrong 49er team....IMO the '89 team was better, The '84 team did not feature Jerry Rice......Actually both those teams should be on that list....but I'm biased.

I think the '85 Bears are a little high on the list or the '78 Steelers are too low depending how you look at it.....swap positions on those two would be a little better.....

I'm a DIE-HARD Cowboys fan. The list looks pretty legit. The fact that we're in there twice makes me happy.

The 84 team was great, no question.....almost perfect at 15-1....But just looking at the 89 roster of Joe, Jerry, John Taylor, Brent Jones, Ronnie, Roger Craig, Charles Haley, Tom Rathman....all in their prime.

They led the NFL in points scored, points per game and the D was 3rd in the league....

Joe was MVP....and the steamrolled everyone in the playoffs that year.....3 playoff game, combined score 126-26....

No doubt in my mind that the 89 team was the Niner Dynasty's best team.

Not a bad list. Of course, I think my 1996 Packers should be on there. If I remember right they led the league in points scored and they also allowed the fewest points.

Thats not a bad list. Good blend of old school with new school.

Undefeated or not, Miami doesn't even belong on the top 10. That's a joke. My god is that team overrated. their schedule was a farce that year.

I guarantee you every other team on that list would have pounded that team.

Not one bit. In a one game playoff I'll take every team on that list over that Dolphins team. I'll even throw in one of the Colts teams of the past 6 or 7 years too.

Very good list. I could make a great case for the 86' Giants being on it. 2004 Patriots certainly were not better than them.
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

    The '04 Patriots were awesome.

What's funny about this list is that the 2007 Patriots aren't on it. That team set records and put on an offensive display like we'd never seen. Through 18 weeks they were being called possibly the best team anyone had ever seen. But because Asante Samuel can't intercept a ball thrown right at him and because David Tyree makes a once in a lifetime horseshoe up your ass catch that Pats team doesn't even make the list.

The difference of two minutes makes you go from best team ever to not even a mention. So stupid.

Yes the 2004 Patriots were awesome, but not an all-time great team.

It was a lot more than a missed interception and a miracle catch that determined that game by the way.

the Rams of 2002 could make the same case as well, breaking scoring records and then being upset by the Pats in the SB.

Personally i hate these lists. So hard to compare teams of different eras. Especially when losing the Superbowl knocks you off the list. The 2007 Pats would be favoured over a number of the teams on thist list.

Yup, I know how awesome the Giants D was that day and kept NE from scoring it's usual 30 points. Brady looked lost all day.

But the fact is the Pats still took the lead with 2 minutes left and only had to stop NY on that final drive but didn't. Those two plays with Samuel and Tyree were the difference. Had just one of those plays not happened the way it did the Pats finish 19-0 and easily sit at the top of that list. Ridiculous that a team like that is not on the list.
