Default Best Riffs Of The Decade (2000-2010)

I keep feeling let down about new bands and new music, but maybe I'm just not aware of some awesome tunage that's out there.
This is why I thought it would be interesting to do this kind of thread, where you would list the best riffs of the past decade. I know some cats here follow new bands more than I do, so maybe we can discover some good stuff. I'd like to focus on riffs in order to discover the "Back In Black" and "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love" of the 2000s.

    1. A Perfect Circle "Judith"
    2. White Stripes "Seven Nation Army"
    3. Prong "The Banishment"
    4. Minus The Bear "The Fix"
    5. Chickenfoot "Soap On A Rope"
    6. Fireball Ministry "King"
    7. Mastodon "Blood & Thunder"
    8. Monster Magnet "All Shook Up"
    9. Black Label Society "Stillborn"
    10. Audioslave "Show Me How To Live"

Not totally satisfied with this list so I'm counting on other lists being better!

Looking at your list I'm reminded why I no longer listen to new music, and haven't for at least a decade. Music for me stopped around 1995 or so. I stopped listening to new music right about that time and haven't heard a single piece of music since that has inspired me in any way (including VH-I did quite like Me Wise Magic, but they put out what, like 5 songs between 96-now?). Lucky for me there's still a ton of older stuff that I haven't yet experienced, so I still have quite a bit of digging to do with "old" music. Maybe I'm just old

EVHWolf, ok, but please submit your top 10 riffs of the decade proving that CF doesn't belong to the club. We might discover some great music along the way!

Wruff, the whole album is amazing, called "Power Of The Damager." Not one bad song, production is great and the music is as good as Prong's classic early nineties album. I really don't know why this album didn't make a bigger splash when it was released 2 years ago.

Oh I know. I've been into Prong for a loooong time. I have all their records.

Maybe if Tommy bleached his hair blond and wore spandex pants then they'd have generated more of a following over the years.
lol dude never gave a rats ass about image, so most common folk don't find Prong very appealing.

Well there's no way I'm qualified to make a thorough list since I don't listen to too much newer stuff. That being said these are my favorite as opposed to those I feel are the best:

    1. Queens of the Stone Age - 3's & 7's
    2. Them Crooked Vultures - Elephants
    3. The Raconteurs - Salute Your Solution
    4. Velvet Revolver - Slither
    5. AC/DC - Rock 'N' Roll Train
    6. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Spread Your Love
    7. Death from Above 1979 - Going Steady
    8. The Black Keys - 10AM Automatic
    9. Stone Temple Pilots - Huckleberry Crumble
    10. The Strokes - The Modern Age

Man of the wild, I beg to differ!
The drums and the approach to groove is totally different in Prong, compared to classic Met.

Isn't that the Vanilla Ice "Under Pressure/Ice Ice Baby" argument?
