When I first heard the tune I hated it. And the fact that Zakk played on it didn't change my opinion.

But the more I listened to it. It actually grew on me. Not a bad tune.

I still think the band is kind of cookie cutter though. Had Zakk not played on the tune I probably wouldn't have given it a second chance though.

There are yet another band in the style that seems to incorporate bands like Nickelback, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd...not that there is anything necessarily wrong with those bands, but there is a similar sound that they have, similar 'themes', I am sure they being groomed to have a certain sound. Yet another song that will no doubt hit the cover band circuit and get all the drunken 20-something-year-old girls all worked up and singing along...

...come to think of it, as a sound man who usually mixes bands that would most likely latch onto playing this song, I think this is pretty good.

I like it. The guitar kinda reminds me of that on Aerosmith's Beyond Beautiful.

About as much rock cred as a Poison song. It's 2010's "Unskinny Bop."

I guess Zakk needed some extra $ for the mortgage.

Dear God, that is one stupid fucking song.

Earlier poster is correct, I think Zakk needed some extra coin.

    Cliched lyrics? Check

    Simple repeating melody? Check

    Vocal break down? Check

    Hot chicks in video? Check

    Guitar solo? Check

Very simple song to play by cover bands? Check

Maybe I am being too harsh, but damn, this has only been done five million times before, and much better.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

Why do they have to listen to "NEW" rock. My 12 year old son has been listening to and learning how to play guitar to bands like ACDC, VH, AIC, Whitesnake, OZZY. Granted some of those bands he hears from dad but not all. I rarely play any ACDC, OZZY and Whitesnake but he hears them at friends and cousins houses. He does dig some of the newer stuff like 3 Days Grace but on the same token doesn't care much for Nickelback or any of that whiny emo shit.

Ian Moore, Muse, the Killers, the Decembrists, Pearl Jam, Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters...all these guys have great new rock coming out on a regular basis that is interesting, challenging, musically ambitious, lyrically substantial music that combines lots of different vibes and styles isn't the same old tired cliche crap...and there are plenty of other rock bands out there too...these are just the first ones off the top of my mind.
    Stay out of it, dude.

How is this really any different than Black n Blue or Poundcake? It's a fun song about women. This band isn't trying to change somebody's vote or try to write a 72 minute opus with 56 time changes. They probably got together to try and get laid.

I am sure that in 78, a lot of people who got off on The Beatles, Mama's and Papa's, Dylan and The Beach Boys probably had a lot of negative stuff to say about Van halen.

Actually having Zakk on it for me makes it harder to listen to.

Yeah at first I wasnt crazy about this song but the more i listened to it, the more i liked it. Sure, the lyrics and the band are pretty cookie cutter but what band today isnt? As long as its not that scream-o-high school bullshit-"im gunna kill myself cuz the world is depressing" non sence, im good lol. My wife actually downloaded their album off of itunes and they do a fairly decent cover of Duran Durans "Come Undone".

Not a bad band. Not one of my all time favorites but just catchy enough to listen to between other songs on the radio.

The only problem I forsee is that this song is going to get overplayed SO MUCH at stripclubs and college parties, that by the time next year rolls around, probably everyone will be sick of this song.

BOISE STATE BRONCOS! - They're awesome. Deal with it!

11/16/04 - VAN HALEN in Boise, Idaho. Changed my life forever

8/8/06 - Sammy Hagar and the Wabos w/Michael Anthony in Boise, Idaho. Sam and Mike still kick ass
