No one should ever cover the Beatles. Not even VH or Dave.

I think it is cool, and that they did a great job with it.

They also played "Wake Up Little Susie" during their acoustic set. The version on the album is longer.

It's on the bootleg double disc "In Search of Paradise Lost", which is actually a pretty damn good boot if you can get a hold of it. Best DLR solo discs I have heard.

I used to listen to it all the time. Good mix of his solo hits and VH.

Sounds a bit dated now due to the time period and it's love for treble, but if there was one DLR solo disc in my collection that was a must keep, that would be the one.

Would love to see VH do an acoustic set, Could This Be Magic? with maybe a cover or two thrown in.

    Never happen of course.

Side question: is the guy to DLR's left Brett Tuggle, the keyboardist? Going from left to right across the screen I think is Matt Bissonette, Gregg Bissonette, DLR, Brett Tuggle, and finally Steve Vai. Am I correct, or did they have some special appearance by another guitarist for this show here?

I don't agree with that either.

In my opinion there are songs you don't cover (Stairway to Heaven for example), but a band's entire catalog? Nah, especially if they do a good job with it, and in my opinion they give it a good treatment.

Thought this was great, too. Gotta say Vai looks pretty uncomfortable with this tune though. lol.

I'm not a fan of the Beatles but I thought this performance sounded great - instrumentally and vocally.
