Default Any word if Andy Johns is back on board....

I'm hoping so. Keep up with that same sound/formula. I've always thought the first album was the sister album to "F.U.C.K". Keep the tradition going, and keep Andy on board.

maybe production wise but Chickenfoot is far more consistent then F.U.C.K. That middle section is very weak

ANDY is a great, but BRUCE FAIRBAIRN was better, it's a shame he passed away, the sound on Balance is one of the VH's best.

    You're comparing FUCK and Balance.
But FUCK might not be Andy's best work.

I didn't care for the snare drum sound as much on Balance.

Gotta love the snare on 'Runnin With The Devil'!

I always liked the production better on FUCK, I know I'm in the monority but VH sounded a little more raw and they did alot of cool balls out rockin' stuff on FUCK.

I like the sound Glenn Ballard got out of the Dave and Sammy reunion songs, even if the songs themselves were not the best. I would like to see what Ballard could do with Chickenfoot and without Eddie trying to be in control.

At the time in which CF was recording, Andy was quite sick. I can't recall what was ailing him but I remember reading somewhere that Sammy said Andy was very sick during the recording of the album.

I don't know how he is doing now, though. Hope he is doing a lot better.

Andy has always had a knack for percussion, at least as far as I can tell.

Sorry dude - but Me Wise Magic and Humans Being are two of my favorite VH songs.

And - I hope they bring Andy back - I loved the sound of the first CF CD - brilliant.
