I got my EVH EBMM in 1992 and thought it was cool that others were playing them too.

Makes sense, they opened for VH that year on tour. Saw them in Anaheim.

Yeah i saw them too with VH in Kansas city 1991 but Jerry didn't play an EBMM that show.
    Just his G&L.
The singer was in a wheel chair too.
    He broke his leg.

When i saw VH in 1993 Skid Row & Vince Neil opened and Steve Stevens was playing a pink EBMM.

That was the first time i saw Steve use his laser gun toy and had always wondered how he made those sounds.

He held it up to the pickup just like how Eddie did the drill.

I read an interview with Jerry from years ago and he says when he got home from that VH tour, there were 2 EBMM's and 3 full 5150 stacks waiting for him from Ed. He also bought it up again in the last Guitar World cover he did earlier this year or late last year. He said it was one of the coolest things anyone's ever done for him.

Ed also rigged Steve Stevens out with the pink and a black EBMM. I guess the 5150's he was using came from Ed too.

I am a little bitter that all you fuckers got to see Alice in Chains open for VH and the show I went to it was Baby Animals.

    Bleh....
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

If I remember correctly he has a pretty good cover of ATBL out there as well.

Ya man! I'm a Billy Idol/Steve Stevens fan, but I usually don't enjoy VH covers since most are not done this well. They did a great job.

I love how Steve gets into the solo, kinda stumbles around through it, then gets to the end where the synth part should be and goes 'screw it' and gets into some of his signature licks. Super cool!

    Bleh....

When i saw VH in Omaha in 1992 i was sitting in the grass waiting for them to open the doors and the singer from Baby Animals walked right past me.

I met Steve in 1993 at a washburn clinic right b4 the VH tour.

Also i was once standing a little ways away from Jerry at a music rally in SF but didn't bother him.
He had enough dudes coming up to him and shaking his hand.

    Were you bitter about something?
