Thnx for posting! I knew VH covered the Rover and Rock and Roll (LWAN), but never heard them play Trampled Underfoot.

I rediscovered The Rover the other day on the Ipod. They did a great cover of it. I never realized how good a song it is (either VH or LZ) until I came across the VH recording a few years back.

this Chris Gossett guy has a great little website with a really nice collection of rarities and boots

at the 2nd anniversary for the cabo wabo cantina the band did a medley at the end that is fantastic. they did satisfaction, mississippi queen, dazed and confused, communication breakdown and maybe the ocean...

the cooll thing about that video is you can tell by watching sammy and mike that they have no idea what ed and al are gonna start playing next but as soon as they start mike and sam jump in without missing a beat. the solo for communication breakdown is awesome...I'm not a Zep expert but it sounds pretty much note for note to me and sammy goes "check this shit out" right in the middle like he doesn't even know Ed could pull that stuff off.

They did a great job on that cover , as usual !
My favorite is still VH's club days version of 'The Rover' .
