How about instead of 'Who the F@#k is Eddie Van Halen' we print up some 'Where the F@#k is Eddie Van Halen?'

    I'd buy it.

As someone who has amassed at least 24 VH shirts over my lifetime, I am done.

A t-shirt is something you buy at a concert (either inside or on the street). It serves as evidence of a good time and hope for more good times in the future. The t-shirt is the cherry on top of the sundae, which is an album and a tour.

Without the first two, Van Halen is a crappy clothing label.

And by the way, the new VH shirts are also paper-thin-dissolve-in-the-rain bs. Note to cyber squatters, register www.iboughtatshirtmadeoutofpaper.com soon. Eddie will be looking to register the site.

Agreed. I picture a bunch of middle-aged guys with a beer gut and a mortgage (Eddie Trunk lookalikes). I am a member of that fraternity.

I like skulls, but when I think of Van Halen, I don't think of a skull and crossbones.

I want to clarify something... the new EVH shirts are in no way poor quality. They would actually be considered higher quality than the "regular" Van Halen shirts.

I've noticed that some people perceive the new thinner VH shirts as "poor" quality, where in actuality, the reverse is true - they always cost MORE to make than regular-fit shirts because they have a higher thread count (for more comfort) and are fitted (for a more flattering fit). They are generally more expensive and many people perceive them as more comfortable and more desirable.

So, despite the fact that they cost more to make, Eddie went with slim fit because he (and a lot of people) prefer them. And they come in sizes up to 2XL, which will easily fit anyone who wears at least an XL in regular-fit shirts.

FYI, here what Van Halen Store has as far as different sizing & cuts for shirts:

    Men's Regular-Fit 100% cotton shirts, up to 2XL, 3XL, or 4XL ($19.95- $24.95): 22 shirts

    Men's Slim-Fit 100% cotton shirts, up to 2XL ($24.95): 5 shirts

    Men's "High End" designer line, up to 2XL (Slim-fit, Most are cotton/poly/rayon, $29.95 & $38): 5 shirts & 1 hoodie

Women's shirts: 12 tees, most are from the high end line.

    Kid's shirts: 3 tees & 1 onesie.

So, even if you don't want the slim-fit shirts, we've still got plenty of regular fit shirts for you. And I know that VH will continue to make both regular & slim fit shirts. Something for everyone.

Also I just started a thread where you can see the 2 new EVH shirts and also new EVH accessories:

New Van Halen striped bandanas, neckties, beanies & shirts

    Jeff,

We will have to agree to disagree. My fiancee represents a high end jeans store. I tried the line when they came out. It wasn't a size issue. I can do xl or xxl. I didn't find them to be comfortable at all. They just felt too thin.

Additionally, in my line of work, I can wear what I want. So I actually wear the crap out of my VH shirts - home, gym, etc. Over the long run, I don't see the new stuff holding up very well. If a person only intends to wear the new shirts a handful of times, it would work better.

BTW, a few years ago I bought a Cabo Wabo and a FUCK shirt from VH Store, I have probably worn and washed both at least 60 times. With the new shirts, that many laundry cycles would qualify the shirts for Baby Gap.
