The directing was smart, unique, and beautiful. I thought it was a very good film, but I like all that artsy shit.
It was very artsy and I can see how some people will like it, but it's not my cup of tea. It also seemed to me like reading the book would've help understand more of the symbolism, like the butterflies.

I think the butterflies symbolized a transformation or a rebirth for Clooney's character.. but that's a guess.

I watched Kick-Ass over the weekend and enjoyed it.

Yes, Netflix rules. Been a member since 2004, I can only imagine the money I have saved on late fee's since I joined. I pay something like $21 a month and average about 5 DVD's a week.

A Woman Is a Woman. Fantastic French New Wave comedy by Godard starring the lovely Anna Karina. I pray to the heavens that one day Quentin Tarantino will be sued for everything he's worth for trying to pawn Godard's cinematic style as his own.

I wouldn't recommend it. Too slow and strange, it's not the action spy thriller the previews suggest it is.
BO-RING! Even George Clooney parading around shirtless for a good half of the film couldn't save it. TMI?

Totally worth the money. I'm like you, most of my theater movies are kids movies. Alpha and Omega is out on Friday and the kids are already begging to go see it.
At first I was going to reply that they don't have "ADULT" movies on Netflix, but then I understood what you meant!

They have an absolute buttload of Thomas the Train movies on there.

    Into the Wild.

I really liked it. I'm a big fan of movies with unhappy endings. This one is a good combination of entertainment, and "make you think," even if it is a bit long.

Shock (1946)- yea, so i don't watch the newer films. i loved Vincent Price in this one, yet, not one of his best roles in my opinion.

Indeed. It had a strong beginning and five minutes into it I really felt for the old guy (or what was to become the old guy). I figured by the end I'd be all misty-eyed, but I just found myself saying.....well, another great looking Pixar flick.

Just lacked a certain something the others before it had.
