Default Compressor Help? Boss CS-3 vs MXR Dyna Comp

Hi all. Looking to get a new compressor and would like some opinions. I play mainly Rock. Classic rock tones and some newer stuff. I'm wanting to add sustain to power chords and solos, etc. Also wanting to smooth out my pick attach/volumes. I'm using a Digitech GNX with comp. setiings but want a stand alone unit. Looking at the Boss CS-3 and MXR Dyna Comp.

    Any advise?

I've had a dyna comp for years and love it. Loads of sustain.

Iv'e had both. The Boss stuff has a little more tweakability, but honestly, I like the sound of the Dynacomp better.

I have a Boss CS-3 Compressor I'll sell you cheap...I have no idea how I bought it, and it works perfect. I never use it...practically brand new.
Eddie must think I'm a BOZO to want to drop THAT much on one of his new Charvel Guitars!

Thanks for the input guys and thanks for the offer, Red but I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the MXR Custom Comp with true bypass.
