    Default New guitars .......

Have not checked in for a while. Still see everybody is rock'n and a roll'n. Been busy with family stuff, but getting back on track since my father passed away a couple of months back. I am getting back into the swing of things. Always nice to have passions to fall back on. Guitars..............speaking of wich I have finished up some stuff I was in the middle of. My sole attention is on the Jet City brand now, wich I have discussed here before. Myself and 4 others are involved in the building Process. Including my friend who runs all the CNC work. I am having a lot of fun with it as it grows. It is not work to me, the time just flies by ! My whole goal from the beginning was to build a brand of guitar built completely from scratch using the best parts on the market and not cutting any corners.

For example, I have now integrated the contours of many necks including the feel of the music man axis neck into my guitar line, because not only do I like that feel, it is very popular. Tons of options for these guitars. No more " settling for less " ..........10" , 12" 15" radius whatever people need. Arm contours, tummy cuts, no tummy cuts, standard heels, contoured heels.......whatever floats the boat ! Here is one just completed out of Black Korina. I have also been trying out a lot of pickups for different applications. One I have been wanting to try is the Joe Satriani dimarzio's. This one has A Mo' Joe in the bridge and a PAF Joe' in the neck. I now see more of the Genius of Joe. They are not " thick " like other pickups. It seems he looks for balanced pickups with growl and then manipulates his amps and pedals around them. They have clear notes and harmonics. Very distinctive PAF growl.

I think some people think they can just jam high gain pickups in anything and then chase the sound. People end up chasing what they here on the radio or recording and think that is what they need to start with and that is not the case at all. To much saturation. Anyways I dig this pickup combo for something different. Played this the other night for a few hours and it kills. sounds great clean too. 1 piece Black Korina body and a curly black Korina neck. I will have the full specs in the for sale section. I will be building a bunch of these in Black and White Korina some flat tops and carve tops in different layouts and specs. Also for those that are big fans of S- type guitar I am dong those also. I will post a pic below of one I just sold to a customer in the Uk with his requested specs.

    The " fusion " model ( Korina ) A.K.A. " The Ball Buster "

    S - type w/ Dimarzio 36th anniversary pickups

Thanks, We tweaked an old design I had. Just made it slightly bigger. It has really grown on me too. People are really digging it. I am actually thinking about changing the name of that model to " The Ball Buster " permanently. It is goofy, but fun at the same time.
