Ah... we're gonna get all nostalgic and stuff. Him and Steven Rosen were the best EVH interviewers around. Great interviews, the anticipation was awesome. I'd give back facebook and twitter to go back to those better days... damn! Couldn't help myself, i did it again!

Nice find Daisy, thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for sharing Daisy. Not sure if you guys ever found this but there is a 8 part interview of Jas and Ed during 1983. If you haven't heard it you should give it a listen. I touches on a lot of things that were not printed in those days.

It's funny listening to Jas's verbal impression of Eddie.

It's too bad about Steve Rosen and what happened with him and all (financial problems sidelined his plans to do Edwards "authorized" biography).
From what I understand, the 1983 Diver/Brazil tour Franken strat replica was given to Steve by Ed and he ended up havingto sell it.
I saw a pic of Steve with it and it was autographed and personalized "to him" by Edward.

VHND posted the transcription of that interview - it definitely has a different vibe than any other interview I've ever read/heard from Eddie. He sounds like such a fearless teenager. He actually sounds rather impudent.

It was kinda cool to hear him talk about his plans for "the next time [they] record," which turned out to be VHII. It's a cool read.

Nice find! I like how he says Pat Travers is a third tier guitar player and depicts him as a druggy who was a dick.

I like Pat Travers playing but he is a third tier guitarist compared to Ed.

Pat Travers chooses women and Krell over an interview...nice choice, Pat! Thanks for all you did for our King Edward!

Ed's a class act, Mike and Sam need to STFU.
