Default Graham Bonnet and related bands thread

I'm right into Alcatrazz at the moment especially "Disturbing the peace", amazing album!!!! "God blessed video" is full on kick arse. Bonnets voice made me start getting other bonnet and related albums. I have'nt got the Muchael schenker group album he did yet, but Rainbows "Down to earth" is great too. Love "Eyes of the world" and "Makin love".
any other bonnet fans on here?

although I love the song the video for God Blessed Video is one of-if not THE-corniest video of all time.

there's some cool Vai era concert footage out there of Alcatrazz that is worth watching...kinda odd seeing Graham Bonnet in the 80's leisure suit and skinny tie..lol.

He did a great version of "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue". I think it was only a hit for him here in Oz. Apparently, he lived here in Adelaide for a while too. I think his wife is from here.

DDMP, do you have the Alcatrazz video from Japan with Vai???

No, I have'nt got any dvds yet. I've just started collecting his stuff. His solo album "Line up" is at a local store, $32.99. Thats a mighty asking price for a cd, i'm certainly not paying that.
Yes, he was big in oz in the 70's, when he was a POP SINGER. LOL.
He sang "Warm ride" aswell, a bee gee's written song. a far cry from his heavy metal stuff.

I like him and I don't. I loved "Too Young to Die, Too Drunk to Live," "Starcarr Lane," "Hiroshima" and especially "Lost in Hollywood" with DP. A lot of his other stuff is hit or miss with me. I think his best version of "Since You Been Gone" was with Chris Impellitteri on the Stand In Line album.
