Default Romeo Delight covered by Annihilator on new album

I found this searching youtube, I'm not sure what to say. Pretty close to original. It ain't eddie but an interesting take and its good to see VH getting covered.

Sounds way to close to the original.
    Are they a cover band?
    Ive never heard of them.

And they missed a spot @1:44 or it skipped.

    Hate the album cover.

But that is a good cover. In my opinion it does show hard it is to get Dave's swagger (for lack of a better term) to come through like it did on the first few VH albums.

I think the song skipped to answer the previous post.

Always nice to hear VH with the bass up in the mix a bit too.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    sounds good.

Agreed but I think Jeff Scott Soto nails the Dave vibe on this cover of "So This Is Love"

    It skips at 3:28 too.

Sounds good. This guy sounds better than Gary doing it.

It's actually a fairly solid cover. Jeff Waters is a cool guitarist. Kinda neat to see a metal band that usually treads the metallica/slayer/megadeth roads do a cover that's really true to the original without f'kin it up and sounding like the cookie monster singing over a bunch of chainsaws on auto.

Alot better than the Pear Jam cover in another thread!

Annihilator's been around a while. And old buddy of mine used to be into them back about 8 years ago or so.

Jeff Waters to Annihilator is like John Schaffer to Iced Earth, or Dave Mustaine to Megadeth.

Great cover, liked the guitar tone and solo. I listened to it back to back.
