Default Anyone own a Peavey Delta Stomp

I got one cheap and was wondering what people think of them. I know Ed had one on his board as late as the party pictures with proto(at the time) 5150 III. Can't remember what he used it for, but they don't 'em anymore so I just thought I would try it out.

Belive it or not I just now had a chance to really play around with my peavey delta stomp. I must say, for the price, I found many usable tones. It was just me messing around straight out of the box to headphones, but I dialed in the begining of HAIL tone easily on in phase mode(i think phase). I am a total hack, but I do know music and tone and I was surprisingly pleased with what I got for the money. I was not huge fan of the chouruses, reverbs, or delays, but the flange and phaser were my favorite. I know ed liked the octaver from what I have read. I messed with that a little bit, but again I am a huge hack, so I didn't really know what kind of tone I was looking for out of that mode.

    Just thought I would share.

ive had mine since 2003 , the octaver is cool , and it works best a wet/dry signal with two amplifiers.

you can also use the input/output knobs as a improvised powerbreak in front of the amp.

if you get a cv expression pedal the volume swell, univibe and wah wah settings are cool too.

its a cool little unit to break out every now and then , especially for recording.

That's good information Rick. I'm sure with all the PODS and computer prorams that people use the Delta Stomp fell out of favor, but I think is it underestimated in it's quality and that you can pick one up for relatively cheap compared to other products.
