Steve Harris is pretty badass, hard to pick Mikey over him, but my allegiance is to VH first.

Jones should probably get props for ramble on alone, but like Brett said, gotta go with anything affiliated with =VH=

Yeah, even though I'm a huge Led Zeppelin fan and I think John Paul Jones is better, I have to support VH's mighty bassist.

My thoughts exactly. Even though Harris and Jones kick ass, I'm going with Mikey. Gots to put VH first.

I think Mikey is more talented than all of those bass players and deserves to win!

I think the best bass player in the world is Billy Sheehan though, I don't know why he isn't on that poll.

I agree with ya fellows gotta go with Mikey, but if there's one person not in the poll that should be I'd go with Les Claypool of Primus.

I'm surprised to see Harris up there. Not because he's not a good bassist; he IS, and very underrated...but usually the mainstream usually acts as though Iron Maiden never existed.

    I still voted for Mikey.
